The Rise of Netbooks

According to an article in ComputerWorld, it looks like netbook shipments this year could surpass 32.7 million units nearly doubling the number of units shipped in 2008. The worldwide breakdown of the estimated 32.7 million units is as follows: EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) will account for 13.1 million units; North America will account for 8.8 million units; Greater China will account for 3.9 million units; shipments to other Asia regions will account for 3 million units; and Japan and Latin America will account for 1.9 million units. Calculating the numbers above, the total is 30.7 million, so what about the other 2 million units? I guess that they’ll be assigned to the “other” category.
